For use in wet, sticky or abrasive applications where the materialconveyed can stick to the belt surface and then be deposited on the roller surface. This build up then changes the roller diameter to an irregular shape, which is a major cause of belt mis-tracking.
MES can provide Return Rubber Disc Idlers with spaced rubber discs which contribute to eliminating roller build up by breaking up the material which is normally in the centre of the belt. The discs which are bunched together at the ends support and protect the belt edges which also restricts belt drift.
